Righteous Babe: (i.e. Ani DiFranco)n. a bi-sexual folksinger, with a lot of talent, and kickass lyrics; inspiring; motivating; (see: role model) Comprehend? Kewl. Ani is my true inspiration and role model. I have my friend Jen to thank for getting me into her. Thanx Jen, babe!!
Ani is an independent icon, and has her own record label entitled, Righteous Babe Records. For this reason, she has an advantage most do not... she's not a sellout!! She's released 16 albums in the past 10 years, and are listed in order under the Biography link at the top of the page. She is a true and original individual. I mean, the girl has had her hair in every color of the frickin' rainbow!! as well, as had it in braid extensions, dread-locks, and several times completely shaved her head. (Talk about expressing yourself, right?!).
